HTML Introduction

The basic HTML is not hard to learn. You will write the HTML document on the Notepad or WordPad or Dream Weaver or any other text/html editor. When you are finished creating the HTML document, then you will open the created document on Internet Explorer or Firfox or Opera or Google Chrome or Safari to check your first page. The browser will interpret the HTML commands for you and display the first HTML page.

Create you first document with the HTML structure below:
Please open your HTML editor [We are using Notepad] and write down the code below.
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
       <title> Add your Website Title or Page Title </title>
</head>
<body>

<h1> Heading of your paragraph </h1>

<p> This is where you enter the text of your document.</p>

</body>
</html>
Please see the steps in the screenshot below.

Steps: 1. File > 2. Save As > 3. Select your drive where you want save your file, as have selected Desktop. > 4. Give you suitable file name > 5. Now click save button. It’s ready to view your HTML file.
Please double click on the created file to view it on your default browser or you can open in other browser too. Hope you will be to see your first html page.
