The following installation guide will help you.
- Download latest version of WordPress package from www.wordpress.org [I am using wordpress-3.3.1. Please note that WordPress 3.3.1 requires at least 5.2.4.]
- Unzip the package in your server website folder.
- Access PHP My Admin and Create Database name.
- Access the files through www.yourwebsitename.com/wp-admin/
- Click on Create a Configure file.
- Before getting started you need information below.
- Database name
- Database username
- Database password
- Database host
- Table prefix (if you want to run more than one WordPress in a single database)
- Access your PHP My Admin or Hosting Details to get above details and click on Let’s go button
- Enter your database connection details. If you are not sure about these, contact your host.
- The installer will setup the tables needed for your blog.
- Click on Submit
- WordPress will communicate with your database.
- Enter your Site Title, Username, Password etc and click on Install Wordpress button. It’s ready and now you can check your website www.yourwebsitename.com
