A business card is a part of an introduction when we visit new people or attend events. This is also hold important role to establish any new brand identity.
If you have tight budget and wanted to create your own business card then Microsoft Word is the best tool for you. Read this article about page setting and all important steps with free templates and screenshots.
Here are the steps:
1. Open your Microsoft Word Software and create an A4 size blank page/ document. File > New > Select Blank document

2.Go to Page Layout tab to make this page A4 size and adjust document margin from margin option (choose margin ‘Narrow’).

3. Go to ‘Insert’ menu and click on ‘Table’ option to insert 2x5 (column x Row) table in the A4 size document.

4.After inserting the table, select all by pressing CTRL + A and right click on top left ‘+’ move option and choose table Properties. The standard dimensions of a printed business card are 3.5 X 2 inches, so we will set the sizes from the table properties.
Select tab ‘Row’ and specify height 2 inches.

Select tab ‘column’ and add preferred width 3.5 inches.

You will get similar to the below layout where you can add your preferable logo, name, designation and contact details.

I have created two layouts using the above steps and here are the design.
